Angel's Arms Condominiums
Formerly St. Michael's Church on the South Side, Hanson Design Group, Ltd. teams with local developer, Thomas R. Tripoli, to adaptively re-use the historic structure by converting it into approximately twenty-five condominiums.

Braddock's Field Housing
Working hand-in-hand with the community, Hanson Design Group, Ltd. developed a housing development strategy and implementation plan. Hanson Design Group and the Steve Catranel Construction Company makes up the team responsible for the plan, design and construction of the new housing.

Dinwiddie Street Townhomes
These new structures are the first phase of a project which will eventually include all of the houses along the Dinwiddie Street Corridor to the Hill District.

Doughboy Square Townhomes
A duplex unit type provided the optimal development of the site and met the unit type requirements of the project. This site was seen as an opportunity to re-establish quality housing in Lawrenceville.

Garfield Homes
Hanson Design Group, Ltd. was selected as one of three local architectural firms by the Bloomfield-Garfield Corporation and the Garfield Jubilee Association to design a variety of new single family housing which would dramatically enhance the character of the existing neighborhood.

Garfield Jubilee Housing
The Garfield Jubliee Association identified the need to revitalize Black Street, the main thoroughfare in Garfield. The houses were gutted to the bare walls and fully restored in an effort to maintain a good neighborhood for the existing homeowners. The result was six new rental units in two homes, for low to moderate income groups.

Homestead Housing
Hanson Design Group, Ltd. has prepared a housing development strategy for the core residential area of Homestead, PA. The strategy was developed through numerous workshops and meetings with community representatives and is based on twelve goals developed by the community at the beginning of the project.

Lawrenceville Penn Avenue Townhomes
Sponsored by the Urban Redevelopment Authority, the project is intended to build on the successful housing developments by the project team in the past, and to raise the market of new homes being offered in Lawrenceville.

Locust Spring Townhomes
Hanson Design Group, Ltd. worked closely with Steve Catranel Construction Company, Inc. to develop an urban city block for the McKeesport Collaborative Housing Corporation and the Allegheny County Department of Economic Development.

Meadowcrest Townhomes is a planned housing development on a site surrounded by an existing residential neighborhood. The development is designed to maintain the integrity of that surrounding neighborhood, while providing quality, affordable housing of diverse types.

Rankin Housing Investment Strategy
Hanson Design Group, Ltd. was selected by the Rankin Partnership and The Community Builders, Inc. to provide architectural planning and consulting assistance with the development of a Housing Investment Strategy for the Borough of Rankin. The project consists of two phases.

Shadeland Avenue Townhomes
The housing development consists of three single-family detached homes along Shadeland Avenue in the neighborhood of the faith-based organization, New Hope for Neighborhood Renewal, a developing agency of New Hope Church.

Thomas Boulevard Homes
The neighborhood of North Point Breeze flourished within the City of Pittsburgh in the 1800's. McPherson and Thomas, the major streets of the neighborhood, emulated French boulevards with wide, divided roads, floral islands and a mixture of apartments and mansions. Two new duplex houses were designed to respect the character of the large historical mansions of the neighborhood, and still offer a realistically priced house for today's urban market.

Wylie Avenue Townhomes
Located in the heart of the Hill District, this site was vacant and blighted for over thirty years. Covering three blocks, the project includes twelve townhomes for sale and twenty four rental townhomes.
