The Avenues Revitalization Streetscape Renewal
Hanson Design Group, Ltd. was commissioned by the Allegheny County Department of Economic Development and The Enterprise Zone Corporation to prepare design and construction documents for the streetscapes of both Sixth and Seventh Avenues from their intersection to their ends at McClure Street. This zone stretches through three boroughs; West Homestead, Homestead and Munhall and included in it is the major artery to the Waterfront Development, Amity Street.

Mt. Oliver Streetscape
This project was created to revitalize the commercial corridor passing through the center of Mount Oliver, one of the older boroughs within the city of Pittsburgh. Its design involved coordination among the Borough of Mount Oliver, the City of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County.

Perrysville Streetscape
This project consisted of 2400 linear feet of streetscape in an anonymous commercial district in a small town in Pennsylvania. Through the design and construction process, a strong community identity was created, along with a sense of community pride.

Steel Valley Revitalization
The project consists of the area between Eighth Avenue and the Waterfront development, from Liberty Place to the intersection with Eighth Avenue. This zone stretches through the three boroughs of West Homestead, Homestead and Munhall. The redevelopment of this area is critical to the future of these three boroughs, as this project will be the zipper between the Waterfront development and the communities.

Versailles Streetscape
To make this project a reality, the community leaders of Versailles sought funding from the County Commercial Revitalization Program and chose Hanson Design Group, Ltd. to provide complete services from planning through construction administration.

Waynesburg Downtown Planning
Hanson Design Group, Ltd. was contracted by Waynesburg Prosperous & Beautiful to aid in coordinating business activity and improving the appearance of downtown Waynesburg, providing streetscape design, facade guidelines and illustrative drawings for the renovations of three building facades in the Target Area. Additionally, Hanson Design Groupšs consultant, Planning Principles Inc., was engaged to assist in branding and business planning.
